Zoe took THE STINKIEST crap last night. I mean if there was a war and I bombed the enemy’s hideout with her crap,
everyone and their grandmother would have surrendered. It was THAT bad. Miyuk gook does this. Someone
should let the government know.
Man, I’ve been mucho busy-o. We have a deck. It’s pretty worn out. The hubs bought a power washer and sander
to clean it up. So far he’s used the power washer. That’s it. Then he bought a grill and it came with a wrong part so
we had to call up the company and wait for the correct piece to come in. The piece came. He didn’t finish it. So
yesterday because I’m number one, I finished it for him because I am the awsomest of the awsome. It’s my blog
and I can praise myself if I want to so shut up. We went and bought some outdoor furniture and an outdoor rug
and I still need to find an umbrella and make some nice finishing touches.
So since saturday I’ve completely stopped giving Zoe her bottle. I mean yeah I’ve been using the trainer cup with
the altered nipple so that it’s easy to wean them from the bottle to the sippy but like Nancy said, “It’s a glorified
nipple.” She also said that it’s harder for parents to get off the bottle than the baby which I think is so very true. But
for me it’s also because she has a hard time finishing her milk to begin with and now I have to go alter her universe
and strictly go to sippy. She hasn’t been even finishing half since I stopped giving her the bottle. So yesterday I
went back to the Playtex sippy cups I wrote about before and she seemed to take it a lot better. Phew! When
Zoe had her last doctor’s appointment which was at one year (in march) he said to give her max 24 oz a day. No
more than that cause it’s bad for her teeth. I don’t even think she breaks 20 sometimes. What’s the minimum at 15
months? I guess I’ll find out this thursday. She’s scheduled for her MMR.

First you throw on your summer hat…
…next your new bad ass shades…
…and of course the swimsuit.
And to celebrate her beautifulness we had some milk and a taiyaki.

The Hello Kitty Wallet
So as I mentioned before, Zoe loves Hello Kitty. We went to the Sanrio store when I was down at my mother’s
house and she picked out this wallet. She could have gotten anything else in the store but she insisted that she
wanted this wallet. So I said fine.
This week I filled it up with 12 photos of her, one for each month of her first year, I made her some paper coins, and
she got her first driver’s license. I made it. I am her DMV. I still need to make her “Zoe dollars”.
She kept opening up her wallet and looking at the photo of her 1st month where she’s sleeping with her dad and
she’ll point at his face and say “Elmo!”

The Vietnamese Slippers
Yesterday I took Zoe to Mitsua. Dude. She loves Hello Kitty. There’s a store that sells accessories for cars like air
freshner, steering wheel covers, etc… This one sees the Hello Kitty logo on a steering wheel cover, makes a
beeline for it, starts this non stop chattering that even her own mama don’t understand and takes it off the hook
and starts walking out of the store like it was meant to be hers and she didn’t have to pay for it. Girl, you don’t even
have a car and the Little Tikes one does not count.
:: 06.16.09 :: With Love From Vietnam
When my sister, Hannah, came to visit from Vietnam back in November she brought Zoe a pair of handmade slippers.
They’re still too big for her but she really likes them. I put them on her, hold her hand, and slide her around everywhere.

The Massacre
I just saw Jon & Kate Plus 8 and I’m just really sad for the whole family.
On another note those little crooked play houses are each around $2500 and they got 4!
Zoe, one day I will slave away and build you one with my bare hands and if we ever move we’re taking that shit
with us cause I will only do it one time.
:: 05.18.09 :: The Massacre
It was a beautiful, sunny morning. Zoe woke up in a good mood and we decided to share potato bread on the
kitchen floor because we like to eat on the floor like the beggars that we are. I mean why hide it? Let’s keep it real
homeslice.
This is the calm before the storm.
After stuffing herself with carby goodness it was as if a time bomb went off. Like maybe she had one too many
pieces of the potato bread or something. I can’t look.
Warning: The following photos may not be suitable for young viewers or those weak at heart.
Here is the storm…actually a typhoon.
I know this is hard to believe…but she really does love her stuffed animals. She hugs them and kisses them all the time
almost as if to say “I’m sorry for banging your face on the wall two days ago” or even “I hope you forgive me for
dropping you down the stairs”. -

Funny Story + Airing It Out
ONE MORE POST FOR TODAY!!!
Ok so I have a funny story to share before
you all go off for your weekend…it’s a good
one.
Yesterday I was wrapping up the bridal shower
gifts I got for my friend Irene. So while I’m busy I
gave Zoe a brand new box of large crayons and
some paper. I sat her at her table and showed
her how to use them (She’s used crayons before
so this was just a refresher course). Then I left her
to draw while I wrapped away. After about 5
minutes I noticed that I no longer heard the sweet
sound of scribbling. So I walked over and this one
was eating away at the red crayon like some sort
of vampire gone crazy and had all these little red
crayon chips all over her lips. So I pulled her off her seat and yelled at her and she proceded to cry. I ignored her and
left her to go back to my wrapping and took ALL the happy crayons with me along with broken red one. She followed
me and proceded to tell me something in her Zoe jibber-jabber as if she was explaining to me that there was a logical
explanation for what she did. I said “Ok. I’ll give you the crayons back but if you eat it you get a meh-meh!” and I
tapped her on the mouth to show her that if that’s where it went then that’s a BEEG NO NO. We walked back to her
table and she went back to scribbling with the overjoyous pink crayon. I went back to my wrapping. After about 30
seconds I no longer heard the happy sing songing of the pink crayon. So I walked over to her (HERE IT COMES) and she
was slowly putting the pink crayon to her mouth (WAIT FOR IT, WAIT FOR IT), saw me in her periph (HERE WE GO), and ….
….kisses it.
************ sigh – sigh – sigh**************
Go ahead, laugh. She’s sneaky right? BUT MOMMY’S NOT STUPID! I’M ON TO YOU LITTLE GIRL!!!
I know you were going to eat it so don’t even try!!!!!!!!!!
God I’m in a lot of shit.
Ok so I let her “air it out” as some of you call it but it was a mess. She peed in 6 different spots in about an hour and
a half! I’m tired. The new pull handles for the kitchen came in yesterday. I changed all the handles and I’m finally
done. There were 39! Geeze!
After feeding her, and mopping the floor because of her peeing all over the place like some sort of psycho puppy
marking his territory, and then finally putting her down for her nap I am officially exhausted. I still have to clean her
toys she peed on and the stuffed animals she sat on with her bare coochie. Oh crap and the laundry. And I should
shower. You don’t even wanna know when the last time I took one was.
One day I will paint these bitches white. One day.
I found these awsome knobs after much researching. Everywhere else it was like 5 and up for just ONE! Friggin A! Even
Ikea’s were pricey and I need 39 of them. I found these for $2 and change each. SUHWEET! Susan you’re awsome!
Yeah, I know! -
Stuff This Week
I have been busy this week and to top it off Zoe has a bad diaper rash and was screaming bloody murder this morning. Poor thing.
Sunday – Playdate with CJ and Christian
Monday – Paid my cellphone ticket, ordered new pull handles for the kitchen, made mac and cheese for Zoe, pick up drycleaning, give Zoe a bath
Tuesday – Went to Lowe’s, went grocery shopping, finished painting the foyer (should have done this in December), took off all the remaining painter’s tape around the house (should have done this in September), make dinner
Wednesday – Went shopping for Zoe’s beach stuff (sandals, swimsuit, hat, new sunglasses), bought a shower gift for Irene, Ordered a father’s day present for the hubs, take window measurements (we need to order new window treatments), take all our loose change to the bank (We made $500! Vacation fund!)
Thursday - Vacuum + mop, give Zoe a much needed bath
Today – Make father’s day card w/ Zoe, hang up Zoe’s shower caddy, Work on Zoe’s 15th month video,
In case you’re wondering I don’t always make dinner since my mother in law cooks most of the time and I bathe Zoe every other day but yesterday I was pooped. So today it is. Every week I make a new TO-DO list and whatever I don’t finish from the week before gets pushed onto the new week. I actually like making to-do lists.

:: 06.16.09 :: The Piggy and the Webcam
I told you. The girl is funny. She’s a total ham.
Sometimes Zoe and I get bored (I mean you can tell from the photos you just saw). We went for a walk already but after her afternoon nap we were a little bored with the toys, and the books, and the tv….
So we listened to some itunes (cause she loves music) with the visualizer showing (cause she loves watching everything move on the monitor) and turned on our webcam to take some photos + videos. She loves seeing herself on the monitor and she thinks it’s funny when she looks in the monitor and she sees me making a face behind her back cause then she’ll quickly turn around to see if she can catch me in the act (which she can’t cause mommy’s super fast like lightning shiet).
Here is a video of our boredom in all its glory and we like to keep it real, this is how we usually are together.
Dinner time!

:: 06.14.09 :: Playdate for Mommy + Zoe
We got this in a grab bag at Oliver’s party. It’s clever. Thanks Carm!
I met with my girls for lunch. We planned this since April. Shawnie came over with her hubs and Christian and we left them with C and Zoe. The husbands were packing up the kids to take them out to lunch when we left. My parting words were “Have fun. Don’t call us unless there’s blood or choking involved.”
These are the girls I’ve grown up with. Anna has been my bff since I was 5. Shawnie since 6 and I’ve know Alexis since 6th grade. WAYYYY back. After lunch Alexis drove us all back to my place and she went home to get the hubs so all the husbands could go hit some golf balls. Young you sellout. We missed you.
We took a walk to Fruit Gelataria to get some fro-yo.
We played in the backyard. We also played with bubbles but since I was the designated bubble blower there are no photos.

My Projects
Some stuff I’ve been working on.
One day I was bored so I got all my yarn and rolled them all into balls.
Then another day I was going to work on an Easter project for church but never got to finish on time so I just kept it for home decor but it’s a tree branch wrapped in yarn.
I love yarn.
Then another day I looked at our stool and thought it was boring so I spray painted it.
Then another day I got sick of seeing all of Zoe’s shoes lined up on the window sil in the foyer so I got our terracotta plant pots and spray painted those. I love paint.
Projects I need to work on:
- Zoe’s rocking horse
- Zoe’s playtable
- Making a book of all my blog entries
