Ok I know Zoe is too young for some of this stuff but I would get her the Miffy one if I could. It’s sooo cute.
1. Speakal Ipod Multi Speaker Docking Station :: $120 :: It comes in multiple colors and characters.
2. Lego Docking Station :: Homeloo :: $45
LandOfNod.com :: $20 (was $60) :: Only available in white / black.
3. Transformers Docking Station :: $145 :: At times like this I wish I had a son.
4. Miffy MP3 Player + Docking Station :: So cute hello! And then at times like this I’m glad I have a girl. I think right now these are only available in Korea.
5. iHome Color Changing Stereo System :: B+H :: $60
6. Hello Kitty Speaker Docking Station :: $100
Zoe loves music and she loves to dance. She stomps her feet to this Hello Kitty intro song. She knows how to do the disco roll w/ Jack Black. And she loves this alphabet song and calls it the “A”. She likes to play with my ipod and makes me put my earphones on her. When we’re in the car sometimes she wants me to put the headphones on her.

So because she’s going through this Hello Kitty phase I’ve done some research. I want her to get her own MP3 player eventually and I found this really cute one. It’s a Hello Kitty MP3 player with a Dear Daniel speaker. So cute I could vomit. If I see it for a good deal I’m just gonna get it and then give it to her WAYYYY later.

Sesame Place
So this saturday we’re planning on heading down to PA to visit my Mom and cousin Owen. We’re also going to check out Sesame Place. Man, she is going to crap in her diaper when she sees Elmo. I wonder how she’ll react. I mean on tv he looks all cute and small and I could probably squash him with my foot but in person he’s going to be bigger. Bigger than ME! Ok I know that’s not saying much but still. I think Elmo and I could duke it out in person.
Sesame Place
We’ve also been talking about taking a family vacation soon. Man I really need one. I haven’t been on one since my babymoon to Canouan and that was like October or November of 2007. Man…that feels like a millenium ago. -
Do You Care If Your Kid Hates You?
Me neither! Which is why I would buy Zoe one of these. I actually really like the train one.

Morgan’s 1st Birthday Party
:: 07.18.09 :: Morgan’s First Birthday Party
Thanks for inviting us Tracy! We forgot to bring the card and I keep forgetting to mail it. I’ll send it out today!
It was a good call on my part to bring Zoe’s car. Her and Ethan ended up trading their vehicles for a bit.
It’s really hard to get a good photo when there’s so many kids involved. However when you look at the first photo I believe there are only 2 adults looking up at the camera.

My Projects
Zoe’s rash is gone! YAY! Thank God it’s over. It’s the worse when she’s sick AND cranky. Today we got up and she was in such a great mood. She was so cute and loveable and just giggling all morning. Why can’t you be like that all the time Zoe? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY??? I’m just glad to have my happy lil pipsqueak back.
So projects…..
I have been working on a few projects at home. And I’m done a lot of them.
Bird House :: I bought this from Crate & Barrel online. It was on sale for less than 9 bucks so I bought one for my mom as well. I spray painted the roof to give it a little color.
Mailbox :: So the mailbox that the house came with was black and starting to rust. I love what a little spray paint can do.
The Deck :: So we finally dolled up the deck. We got an outdoor rug, a table and some chairs, a grill, an umbrella, and some plants. We also got Zoe her own little outdoor chair as well. I found the bench and plant stands at Ikea and thought they needed a splash of color as well.
This is what the deck looked like before we moved in.
This is how we spruced it up. We still need to treat the wood. However that’s the hubby’s project.
So as you can see, I’m a bit of a spray painting whore.
I’m still working on her rocking horse. -
A Case of the Roseola
So saturday started off like any other saturday. Zoe and I woke up and she helped me make breakfast. I usually let the hubs sleep in on saturdays till I need him.
The hubs woke up to watch Zoe as I got breakfast ready. We had a swimming playdate for later that afternoon but I cancelled since she had just gotten over her fever the night before. As the hubs was changing her diaper he yelled out “Did you know she has a rash all over her front?” FOCK ME. I think it’s Roseola. I know we thought she had it during her birthday back in March but she didn’t break out in a rash. The only reason I was sure that she had it was because when our nephew Ellis got back home to Boston he ended up getting it. By the time we gave her morning bottle it was on her face.
And by the time we fed her breakfast it was very noticeable on her chest area.
*sigh* I’m just happy there was no fever but poor thing has been cooped up at home all week. So I finally took her pool out and she was so happy just sitting in it.
At 3 I took her out to put her down for a nap and we got into a fight. Not because I took her out of the pool. It’s because I took off her Elmo swimming diapers. After she woke up from her nap she kept carrying a new Elmo swimming diaper and just followed me around whining. So I put it on over her regular diaper. GEEZE!
In the evening she took a bath and was in good spirits.
She’s so vain. -
Zoe’s First Souvenir Collection
I’m going through a yellow phase lately so I decided to give my page a little makeover. Oh and Zoe’s fever is back. SIGH SIGH!
Ok question.
Do you ever have days where you sneeze or laugh really hard and you wished you’d practiced doing your kiegels a lot more often than you should have?Ok me neither.

Anyways moving right along, after our lil daycation out to Fire Island I wanted to start a collection of souvenirs for Zoe of vacations to come. So I went to the container store, bought a small jar, and filled it with the rocks and shells I found on the beach and printed a family photo from that day with the location and date on it so we can always always look back on it together. It’s also a nice way to display a family photo.
Low and behold in August’s Cookie Magazine and in the Real Simple Solutions Magazine that I bought yesterday they wrote about the very same things. Um herro!? Eckskoose me! I swear I should be researching for a magazine or something. Martha, call me bitch. Let’s do lunch.

The Whistle
Thank you for all your prayers and thoughts. Zoe is sooo much better now. I hope her fever doesn’t come back cause it’s been hell. She woke up at 4 this morning. We both passed out again after an hour and didn’t get up till 10. The littlest thing would set her off in a really bad I-need-to-cling-to-mommy mood all day. If I don’t pick her up she’d just follow me bawling or trying to hold onto a leg. *sigh* I gave her a bath this evening but before I did she was holding onto Mr Blue and Mr Pink (her bff’s) and I literally had to rip them out of her arms and all hell broke loose. It was like her world was coming to an end. Drama! No fever since 5:30 this evening so I’m hoping for the best.
Anyways this is an old video from June. I found this old red whistle that I never used and gave it to her. She had been trying to get a go at it for about an hour and she finally heard it go off and was sooo proud of herself. This is actually one of my favorite videos because after each time you hear the whistle go off you can tell she’s proud cause she’s literally beaming. You’ll see. Enjoy! -
My Day w/ Zoe
*sigh* My Zoe monster is sick. We put her to bed last night. She slept in our bed. I patted her to sleep. She was lying on her front. Her father tried patting her as well. She pushed his hand away, grabbed mine, and put it on her back as if to say “You are the chosen one to pat me. Continue on commoner.” She woke up at 2:30. I patted her back to make her go to sleep. She felt unusually hot. I took her temperature. 102.3. Fock. The hubs woke and got her Motrin. She drank some milk and seemed to be in good spirits. She took this time to stay up and watch Lazytown till 4:30am. Lucky me. We woke up at 9. She seemed fine but then at around 11ish she spiked up to 102 again. I gave her some Motrin. I was almost out. While she napped I left her with her grandmother to watch her so I could head out and buy some more Motrin. I bought a Dora sippy cup. I thought this would make her happy. When I got home she woke up. I washed the new cup, filled it with juice, and handed it to her. She took the cup put it on the floor, squatted next to it, and for the next 30 seconds in a sqawking voice continued to yell out “DODA DODA DODA” while pointing excitedly at the cup. I then thought it would be a good idea to test out her pool and cool her body down. However we didn’t have any swimming diapers. I went to the grocery store again. Me, Zoe, and her grandmother. While in checkout Zoe noticed the balloons around us and started to yell out in her chicken sqawk “TITTY TITTY TITTY”. To shut the inappropriate pipsqueak up we got her a friggin balloon. It was not of Titty but of Doda. My sister in law suggested that swimming was a bad idea for a toddler with a fever. Ok. So I gave her a bath instead which she really enjoyed because there was no scrubbing or suds involved. Just water, nudity, and toys. For dinner I made konggooksu. I did not know it was going to take so long. Friggin kongs! It needs some fine tuning but wasn’t bad. I put Zoe down for bed time at 9 this evening. I gave her a bottle of 8oz not thinking she was going to house the whole thing like a pigster. She’s filled her quota for today.
She still has her fever. Pray for her.
I is tired.

SMILE!
So as of 15 months Zoe can smile on command. We practiced in front of the mirror. I shit you not. I wanted her to see what she looked like when I said “SMILE!” Apparently she liked what she saw and so she does it. Sometimes she half asses it. How do I know she’s half assi’n it? Cause I still see her eyes. However when she does it right it rooks rike dish:
Such a vision of beauty I tell you.
Happy Monday!
