So this morning I hit up Bergen Mall with Hae Kyung and Justin. We checked out the fishies and did a lil shopping. Hae Kyung, next time can you remind me to take photos? I had my camera and all I did was take photos of the fish.

Anyways by the time we got back I had a little time to kill since Zoe was taking a nap so I finally worked on one of my mini projects.

Project: Zoe’s Canvas Bag
This was actually REALLY easy. This was one of the coloring pages I printed for our upcoming trip. I scanned it, wrote in Zoe’s name, printed it again, colored it, rescanned it, reversed the photo, and then printed it on an iron transfer sheet.

It’s hard being one. Mommy just out of the blue decides to cut your 2 naps into 1. You just couldn’t wait 30 minutes. I mean you were screaming your ass off 5 minutes before this.

So I think all we have to do is pack. I would say the only thing we need is to buy snacks but other than that I think we’re set. When I first found out we were flying out somewhere I started searching for things to keep Zoe busy while we were on the plane. I think I’m pretty much done. And the second thing I searched for were things to keep her busy in the water/beach. I think I’m set there too now. 9 days and still counting.

Oh Lordie. So we had just gotten home from MA when I noticed that the package had arrived in the mail. I opened it. She saw it. I blew it up for her. She hugged it, and climbed in, and climbed out, and was talking to Hello Kitty like they were the bestest of friends. Then I tried to take her upstairs without it and she had a melt down. TOTALLY MY FAULT. I shouldn’t have let her play with it right before bedtime. So, I had to carry the damn thing up and place it on our bed with her in it. Then we took it away from her so she could sleep and boy did she HATE me.

Man. I don’t know where Zoe learned “I want that” but I heard it about 50 times today. Damn it! Man…now I don’t ever want to go to a toy store with her.

I’m trying to cut her 2 naps into 1 now. So instead of her 10-12 morning nap and her 4-5:30 afternoon nap, I’m trying to put her down at 1 instead. Today we tried it and it wasn’t bad. I put her down at 1 and she woke up at 3:30. Yay! This is also good because instead of putting her down at 9:30 or 10 I’m now trying to put her down at 8:30. Today was good. She was out by 8:50. WOOHOO! Success is mine!

Right now the hubs is hoggin up our main PC for his Final Fantasy Football draft which I translate it to My-Nerd-Friends-And-I-Are-Congregating-Online-To-Do-Nerd Things. He was clicking his pen and looking intensely into the monitor with a Final Fantasy Football magazine opened before him. *coughcoughDORKcoughcough* Therefore I have been kicked into bed early with his laptop to do my daily Xanga update while watching Sex And The City for the 5th time. You know Dante’s (Samantha’s neighbor) 2nd girl (the one where he pulls the skank’s bikini top down while on the beach in broad daylight) is a Korean chick?! For shizzle. I looked it up.

Tomorrow I have a playdate in the am with a church mommy. That should be fun. I think I’ll take them to the playground in Leonia. Hopefully I’ll remember to take photos.

We have ten days left till we go on vacation. I cannot wait. I think I’m so excited that I might forget to put Zoe in the car that day. It’s been so long. SOOOOO long. I’ll post her airplane activity goodies soon.

You know those lil Korean yogurt drinks? I think they’re called Bio-Feel or something like that? I freeze ours and I give Zoe one per day. She LOVES them. She’s like a lil Korean yogurt sucking fiend who needs to go to yogurt junkie rehab.

We checked out the free class at Little Gym. The highlight for Zoe was when she started running around. I was like “Um, she can do that at home for free.” We didn’t sign up.

We drove down to central jersey to pick up a little tykes playground that I saw on Craig’s list. While we were down there we decided to hit up our old dim sum joint we used to go to when the hubs used to live in New Brunswick. There used to be an angry Chinese woman who used to push the cart for the clams in black bean sauce. She wasn’t there the day we came. We missed her negative aura.

Once I finish loading photos onto Facebook and Xanga I back them up on my harddrive and delete them off of my computer. Always back up your stuff. I lost my honeymoon photos this way.  So sad.

Later in the day we went to the Bergen Town Mall. They have beautiful array of salt water fish in their aquarium. This lil puffer fish just planted himself right in front of Zoe and it was like a staring contest or something.

Today’s vocab word is ‘Swiper’ (from Dora the Explorer) or as Zoe would call him “swayur“. She has a new phrase as well. It’s “Aww meh!” which is what Swiper says only he says “Aww man!” Close enough boo boo! Oh and she also leaned “ball“. Yesterday she learned where her shoulders were and if you have a booboo she’ll come blow on it for you.

Yesterday I found Giraffe and A Half on sale at Marshall’s. Suhweet! Anything be Shel Silverstein I’m sold. I didn’t even know this book existed. I am slowly building up Zoe’s library. I hope she loves reading as much as I did when I was little. Now that I’m all grown up I hardly glance at a book unless it’s one that I’m reading to Zoe. Sad huh? I can’t even remember the last time I watched the news. So sad. I can remember the last time I watch Sesame Street…this morning. So sad.

Also Zoe’s diahrhea has been off and on. It’s been a roller coaster ride for 2 weeks. I get 2 solid poopy diapers and then a runny diaper. It’s like that ebuhdeeday! I called the doctor and he said if she’s nto vomitting and no fever and if her appetite if good then it’s ok. Sometimes they just get it he says. He also told me to put her back on milk. Hopefully she’ll start giving me consistent solid poopy diapers soon.  Who knew that I could dedicate a whole paragraph to poop?

So right now, and I know this is a mistake, I’m letting monkey play with water.
