4th of July

Saturday we decided to head out to Fire Island. I loved it. I'm a total beach snob. I admit it. I'm really picky about
my beaches and this one was way nicer than I expected for an east coast beach. And what a small world. Tinnie it
was nice running into you and Theo there!

what a FUN day trip! and you take awesome photos! what camera and lens do you use? audrey and zoe have the same swimsuit (from old navy, right?)! Z's red sunglasses are way too cute on her. my favorite photo is the daddy/zoe shot by the beach. :)
@hongfamilia - i have a rebel xti and i use the kit lens that it came with.

We were planning on going to Fire Island too but because the weather man said there was 50% chance of raining, we backed out last minute! Plus, it was a long commute. How was the ferry ride? Was it on schedule or did you have to wait?
@MissJeter2002 - it was on time. when we took the ferry back at 5:50 there were a shitload of people waiting to board to get to the island!

I have beeen dying to go to Fire Island but the ferry part is putting me off. Two kids, two strollers and all the stuff that I have to schlep to the beach... ugh.

@so_droll80 - how do you know that long beach is a better beach if you haven't been to fire island? Hmmm? HMMMMM?! there, you see her. sitting there across the way.
@LoLxGirL - just go for the day. just take 2 strollers, shove their toys in the basket, carry a lunch bag, and one gigantic beach bag. that's what we did.
