Ok fine. I’ll show you 2 of my projects. One I just ordered and assembled which was easy.

Paper Lanterns
I’m gonna tie these bad boys up with the blue yarn. It’s a nice contrast.
Paper Birthday Banner
This is what’s taking me forever. I’m still working on this.
I WAS going to use fabric but then I lost my job and was like “Paper sounds good.”
I’m gonna use blue yarn for this as well.

Wow the lanterns are AWESOME!!! So pretty…My party space had ridiculously high ceilings so there was no hanging anything off of there

Seriously, you have some crazy craft skills, you should change your job to event planner, you would be great at it! I love the lanterns, where did you get? Zoe is one lucky girl to have a mother like you thats takes time making everything special for her. (every little thing counts).

sigh… but the decorations look great!!! they’ll be a nice added touch to her bedroom after the party is over so that they don’t go to waste! seriously, if you have a good network of people, you should become an event planner – birthday parties, showers, etc… you’d be great at it!

those pom poms are so pretty!
use a small, a little bigger than pin-hole sized hole punch to thread the flags thru- otherwise, the won’t stay in place.
the lanterns are sooo pretty! you should totally change careers and do crafty creative stuff. i would totally hire you to decorate A’s room and plan his first b-day party!

Sorry to hear about your job loss… I was notified that I’d be getting laid off last year, the day before my birthday (what a nice gift), but then we all have to work until the end of Feb.
