Human Heating Blanket + Her Cuteness
Hi! My life has been so busy since my layoff. It’s just like a whirlwind of events and happenings!
Last Wednesday at around 8:30am (as in our day was just starting off) Zoe and I were watching Sesame Street when all of a sudden the tv blacked out.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
What the heck do I do with her all day?! Ok mind you I do play with her but not consistently for hours. I like to leave the tv on as background entertainment while she plays. She didn’t even want to hang out in the living room without the tv on. Hahaha…*sigh* Thank God the tv repair guys came on monday but seriously that was like 5 days of constant clinginess and sheer boredom.
So as usual Zoe is super clingy to me and me only and even though it can be really annoying at times she has her moments. Especially when she’s being really cute and cuddly. So tuesday evening we lay her down in our bed and prop her head on a pillow and the hubs feeds her her last bottle. This is our usual night time routine. By the time she’s done the bottle she’s usually really sleepy and rolls off the pillow and lies on her belly to let us know she’s ready to sleep. While the husband was feeding her I was lying down behind her pillow with my head propped up to watch some tv. She finishes eating, rolls off her pillow, looks up, sees me, starts crawling to me, climbs on top of me, lays on top of me belly down, puts her head by my shoulder and proceds to stare up at me so she can fall asleep. It was soo cute! All I hear from the other side of the bed in a quiet voice is “She doesn’t do that shit for me.” Bitter. Poor daddy. Be a man. Suck it up.
This morning she wakes up at 5 and starts to cry. So I get up and bring her back to our room and lay her down next to me. She climbs on top of me, wraps her legs around my body and rests her head on my chest and tries to fall back asleep. Sooo cute! So after about ten minutes I gently slide her off so she can sleep next to me. She climbs back on top and assumes her position. She’s so cute. I suck it up and be a soldier and sleep with my human heating blanket on top of me.

We got the reindeer headband from church during Christmas. I was told that they bought it at a petstore. Hahaha…. Who cares! She loves it still.

I got rid of all of her 9-12 months clothes and whipped out all her 1-2 yr clothes. The girl has so many friggin dresses to wear. Even I don’t have that much.
You see the black boots? I made her try them on. She looks like a lil Asian gestapo.

The funny thing about these photos is that when she’s playing she’s in her pj’s and when she’s sleeping she’s in her play clothes.

Hiyeeeeeeeeee Zoe! I saw all these on FB but I luv seeing it all again. I was just commenting to my husband that we should dress J in normal clothes during the day when we’re at home–all he wears at home is his FOBBY naebok and his Hanna Andersson slippers. @hkcho - dude, i’m not a pro like ur hubs but i think it’s all about lighting and just finding the right angle. i cannot wait for the weather to get nicer. i’m driving zoe’s ass over in her lil tykes car! bring out ur camera. we’ll just go around taking photos! plus your place looks like you have great lighting!
@PetiteMandoo - You know what? SInce my husband does it for a living–he can be so effin’ lazy about it at home. When we’re out and and about he takes lots of pics but NOT like the candid shots you have of Zoe. Plus he tried to teach me a few times and made fun of me….so I yelled at him and said “FORGET IT!” Hahaha. I’m such a bitch sometimes. I’m gonna call Nancy and see if she wants to come over too otherwise she’ll kick both our asses for having a secret playdate.
It’s Good Friday and daycare is closed so I told my boss that I need to stay home (even though hubs will be home working). So this Friday it is. I’ll message or email you tomorrow.
@hkcho - i cant’ do this friday you boobus. i already have plans with the hubs…although…maybe we can come over in the am? like let’s say 9ish? but then i have to leave by 10:30 cause she needs to go down for her nap. i can probably push it to 11 too. lemme know!
okay, that last picture of your little girl is beyond words! my little boy just started scooting around his crib on his back (he’s 4.5 months old) and lately, the best part of my day is coming into his room in the morning just to see what position he’s managed to houdini himself into.

@PetiteMandoo - Thanks for calling me boobus–you boobus! Haha OK. I won’t deny Mr. Jung his quality time with his girls. I’m going to BRU on Friday morning and J has doctor’s appt. I guess we’ll have to reschedule!

You know Nate’s been doing the human blanket thing to me to recently…when I come home from work all he wants to do is eithe lay on top of me, sit on me or cling onto my shoulders for dear life lol…She’s losing her baby face and looking more like a toddler now like Nate is
