Rough Week
*sigh*
So far this week has been rough. Zoe caught a cold and she has the runs which has caused a really bad diaper rash that makes her cry out bloody murder every time I try to clean her down there. I do not wish diaper rash upon anyone. Her skin looks so raw. Poor thing…She won’t even let me wipe.

diaper rashes suck…M had it for a few days…the worst she’s had ever.
awwww poor girl! I used to find it amusing that my friend’s kid always needed butt cream. Now I know…. =/
Instead of wiping, could you just rinse her off in tepid water and then air dry? And…perhaps going diaper free? You could put down lots of newspaper, and maybe a sheet over that. I think that might help with the rash – getting some air.

Oh no! Go get the triple cream now. Olivia had a bad diaper rash like that c ouple of months ago due to the runs and he butt was so bad. It was so bad that when I was wiping her butt I saw streaks if red. I bought the California baby spray for the diaper area and wiped it with the Viva paper towels and then I slathered the triple cream on. It went away overnight. I used A&D, Blamex, both creamy and regular and nothing worked. Triple cream is pricey but I know when your little one is in agaony nothing matters. I highly recommend the tiple cream and I hope Zoe’s little bottom feels better fast!
aidan used to have horrible diaper rash when he was younger. the doc recommended washing his butt under flowing water (sink) and then drying with a soft towel, then air drying for a min or two… then triple paste. the triple paste was amazing and worked overnight. i hope zoe feels better soon!

poor zoe. have you tried a squirt bottle? someone recommended that if wiping hurts too much.

try either triple paste, or desitin original (not creamy). triple paste worked after one app with Tessa, and Desitin works well after one app for Emmy (who has had 2q98347209348702987 bad diaper rashes.) i also used G Diapers with Emmy when she just kept getting diaper rashes-it allows the skin to breath more than regular diapers.

Love her Phillies cap! Totally random, but my husband & I visited Philadelphia 2 years ago and went to a Phillies game at night. It was the COLDEST I’ve ever been in my life – even colder than Tahoe during snowboarding season. Something about that air right before it starts snowing, I was freezing my a*s off in the stands trying to enjoy my cheese fries. Husband says Citizens Bank Park is his favorite ballpark thus far in our quest to visit all MLB stadiums. I just say to him, “Do you even remember how cold it was there?!”
