I’m Losing My Mind
So when we bought the Hello Kitty shirt we also bought 2 pairs of summer pj’s for Zoe at The Gap. Even though it’s hot
during the day the evening have been cool so far. So tonight she wanted me to put the blue ones on her. So I just got
done putting the shirt on and next thing you know she blows up at me and is bawling and I FRIGGIN DON”T KNOW WHAT
THE HELL SHE WANTS! It’s sooo frustrating. So all I know is that it has something to do with the shirt. She insisted that I put it
on her. So I fold the sleeves 3 times. She’s quiet when I do it but then after the third fold she’s mad as hell. *sigh* So then I
fold the other sleeve 3 times. Then she’s still mad. I get frustrated and start taking it off but she’s fighting me to keep it on.
WHAT WHAT WHAT ZOE!!!??? So I fold the sleeves all the way to her biceps and she stops crying. WAS THAT ALL YOU
WANTED?! This fight lasted like 10 minutes.Then she gets mad and is pointing at the door. So I go to the door. She starts pointing at the hallway. So I go and stand
in the middle of it. Nothing. So I go back to the room and she starts bawling. She doesn’t want me to put her down and
is pointing at the door again. So I go back out to the hallway. I go to her grandmother’s room. She doesn’t want to go
to her. I head back to my room and pass the stairs and she starts crying and pointing at the stairs. I go down. She points
at the living room. I go to the living room. She points at the Mario Partty Game cover. I give it to her. She stops crying.
OH MY EFFIN WORD!!! WHEN THE HELL IS THIS SHIT GOING TO END?!?
It’s sooo frustrating. I feel like I’m going to lose my shit.

aww poor zoe. ethan has these bad meltdowns, too. but he gets so frustrated he bangs his head or hits himself. *sigh* i feel you…it’s hard to deal with. once they get more vocab, they can boss us around, er tell us what they want

Oh yeah… my god-daughter did the same. Drove us (me and her mom) insane on every Sunday church morning because she refused to wear what we had picked for her. The biggest irritation was that she didn’t even know what she wanted to wear. We had to go through rack by rack, listening to her NOs and finally she will irritate us further by insisting on some garish wear/combination!
We’ve soon learnt our lesson that a baby that sleeps enough and well, is a happy and cooperative baby. Maybe Zoe was grumpy as she was too tired but can’t express it. Of course there are some days you need to pack her off to bed and you hide in your room while she bawls, then explain to her when she wakes up a happy baby the next day…gotta show who is boss! =P
I know it’s not funny but it’s too cute!! At least she’s not abusive. My daughter will throw whatever she has in her hand, got down on the floor and throw her arms and legs in the air and scream. I seriously don’t know where she learned this stuff.
Lol I’m like that when I’m pms-ing sometimes…bad mood for no apparent reason, but she’s too young for that…
oh good lord. you and I both. Chloe is doing the SAME things lately, and I feel that she is testing our boundaries to see what is possible to do, and what is not. I think the worst day was monday though. Maybe they are approaching the terrible twos already? yIkeS.
oh no is she entering her terrible two’s early? it’s time for a sibling. J/K! really kidding!!! hope you find the solution soon but don’t be scared to discipline her.

kids are crazy i tell ya. M does this thing where she’s all ‘bye bye’ cuz she’s busted for something and when you leave she’s says ‘mommy come here’

has she been like this for a while now? i am not looking forward to lila getting to this point. so there was nothing wrong with the shirt? she just had a tantrum? i guess the upside is that this phase will pass, and once she’s talking more she’ll be able to communicate what’s bothering her….
I think losing a husband or a loved one would also lost your heart and normal mind. The internet is buzzing over Jon Gosselin’s girlfriend. Jon Gosselin is about to launch his own fashion line – because there aren’t enough companies that sell jeans and t shirts. Still, enough people will still flock to payday loan companies if they can buy s shirt designed by Jon Gosselin’s girlfriend.
Oh yeah… I remember those days. I don’t know which is worse… the crying and grunting or the non-stop talking. Wait, Elisa talks non-stop and still cries. There’s more to come. MUAHAHAA.

Welcome to the terrible twos! You are going to have soooooo much fun. I assume you know by now that it will pass but the question would be HOW LONG? More or less a year. yikes, so this is what i have to look forward to?! hopefully it’s just a phase and will end quickly.. or she’ll learn to talk soon and will be less fustrated.

I wouldn’t be surprised if half the things you write up on your photos were REALLY what she was thinking at the moment. =P You do what i do though… I try to figure out what they want… till they’re happy… then I’m dumbfounded. Girl.. I need a “patience” pill. If you ever find one… let me know… I think you’ll figure it out faster than me. =(…
i figure if it’s close to her bedtime, it’s cuz she’s grouchy and tired and she herself wants a million things at once. so I just distract them with something else, or settle them down for bed earlier and read more books to relax them. other times I’m just like “what do you want?!??!?!?!?” ahhh, the life of a mother.
