Sesame Place
So this saturday we’re planning on heading down to PA to visit my Mom and cousin Owen. We’re also going to check out Sesame Place. Man, she is going to crap in her diaper when she sees Elmo. I wonder how she’ll react. I mean on tv he looks all cute and small and I could probably squash him with my foot but in person he’s going to be bigger. Bigger than ME! Ok I know that’s not saying much but still. I think Elmo and I could duke it out in person.
Sesame Place
We’ve also been talking about taking a family vacation soon. Man I really need one. I haven’t been on one since my babymoon to Canouan and that was like October or November of 2007. Man…that feels like a millenium ago.

I LOVE Sesame Place!!!! J would love it. The hubs has Saturday/Sunday off…so I hope we can squeeze in a day trip somewhere this weekend! Have fun

OMG susan dont go!!! we went last year with walts nieces and it was SOOOO DIRTY and unorganized! Elmo didn’t even give an autograph to his niece when she asked! AND they ran out of water for hours in the dead heat!!
just warning… REALLY DIRTY bathrooms and cafeteria GROSS! bring snacks lines are long
just dropping in. i loved this place as a kid! very fond memories. my sister in law just went as well with her 3 kids and she said it was great fun for both kids and adults….have fun.
ohh we’re going in 2 weeks… let me know if it’s nice there.. i too heard that it was a bit grimy, but that was from someone that went a few years ago.
you could totally take elmo down.

hmMMm, I wonder if the girls would like that place. I should bring it up to B, and see if he’s up for it. Tessa was never scared of characters in costume, but Emmy freaks!! have fun!
I loved it there. Its very kid friendly.. .dont’ forget to take a swimsuit. Zoe from Sesame Street was my favorite to take a picture with. Get a picture with all the characters!!!! Its not too big. You’ll get to see everything before you get tired – unless you get stuck in the pools. ^=^ Maybe we’ll go one day soon too!

I want to see a pic of you duking it out with Elmo! ;p j/k Man, I SO want to go on a vacay too. I’ve been researching online best place to vacation with a baby on a budget. Ideally I want to go to Hawaii but it’s little more than what we want to spend (esp with Des’ dohl coming up end of the year). Maybe you can head back to So Cal in Dec. and take Zoe to Disneyland! Via JetBlue you can get a really really good dealsright now. You can stay @ my pas since we live less than 10miles from there. Plus, you can then come and see Desmond’s dohl in all glory! ;p

if you check http://www.sesameplace.com/sesame/pa/parkinfo_ticket.aspx, gives you links for vendors that offer discounts. But I remember getting a promotional flyer from CVS saying all we need to do is show the card. But you’ll probably want to double check on that since I haven’t tried it myself.

I remember going to Sesame Place! I kept telling Hubby that there really is an Sesame Street amusement park…but he didn’t believe me. Hah…now I have proof…beside the ragged old Sesame Place beach towel that my Mom pulled out from some hidden corner of her home to bring up for Matthew to use when he goes swimming. (Yes, we are ghetto like that.)
