Sesame Place, Take Two
So this was our second attempt at going and it was a success. We knew it was going to be mid 90′s but we’re like eff it. Let’s just go. By the time we parked the car and got to the front entrance Zoe’s head was drenched in sweat and she had a heat rash all over her back. I’m telling you, she’s like this lil incubator.
Oh before we continue on please excuse the hub’s ugly farmer’s tan and my fugly back tan.
First thing we did was hit up Count’s Splash Castle. This was sooo well made I thought.
After we spent some time swimming we decided to watch Abby Cadabby’s Treasure Hunt show. Zoe was in awe. She started screeching “ELMO!” and “CuhKEY!” and “Aaa-B!” and then she couldn’t keep her eyes off of them.
We then hit up the Teeny Tiny Tidal Wave pool in Twiddlebug Land. She wanted to stay here forever.
I need to end my fan club now because it only has one member now…me. Zoe you traitor. I spit on Mr Pink! Pitooey! Let’s see who’s fan club you try to switch off to next time we go to the Sanrio store. Mmmhmm.
Here she took one with me out of pity but she was TRYING to go to her daddy and it was like “Ok umma. Let’s make this quick. UMMA I SAID QUICK!”
We only hit up those 3 places but I think it was enough for her. It was way too hot to be going all over the place. Who knows? Maybe we’ll be back next year.
If you do end up going here are some things to know (it’s not cheap):
- websiste
- one day and two day tickets are both $50.95 + tax (children under 2 are free)
- coupons only apply during week days (You can bring a Pepsi product / CVS card / coupons from McDonald’s)
- you can rent a stroller inside for $20 but you should reserve it ahead of time
- you can rent a cabana for $170
- you can rent a locker for $19
- parking: general $15 / preferred $18 / vip $25
- no outside food is allowed except for food for young babies

that’s some crajeeee tan you got there zoe’s umma.
you should buy the passport, it gives you unlimited access to sesame street, busch gardens, seaworld and some other park. the attorneys here have them and use them all year and end up going to FL a lot since there’s a busch gardens and seaworld there.
i wish i could say FREEDOM. when? when? funky farmer’s tan
, but nice color where it shows!
omigosh, it looks like a blast. i’m going to recommend my sister & bro-in-law take their kids there sometime. but maybe next year. sis is 8 months pregnant right now.
i love the count!

Looks like you all had a good day
Hahaha! Cute! I had to put on my sunglasses to look at your husband cause he was blinding me with his white-ness. Glad you had fun. You are gorgeous by the way!
i second jenn’s comment… are you sure you had a baby? who cares about the tan, you are one hot mama!
Looks like so much fun! Can’t wait to take william next year.
Thats one sexy tan your sporting there Susan. I haven’t been to the beach this year, so I am pale. Did you go during the weekend? It seems less crowded. I give props to the guy dressed as Elmo, he must be sweating up a storm in is costume.
whoa, that place is coooool- aiden would go apesh*t there if we lived close!
Wow, sesame place has changed since the last time I was there…all i remember was that when i did last go, i fell off some rope thingee in front of everyone..totally embarrassing…maybe thats why i never went back……Girls are so like that when their daddies are around…………lol….But heck, enjoy that freedom, it doesn’t happen all the time……Great pics and love the side notes you have…..hilarious!…Now, i’m really getting exciting on our upcoming trip to the states…….so many cool kids places and yummy places to eat………Keep the pics coming…..BTW, i’m praying that Gracie hair could do pigtails like Zoey…..She is so getting prettier each day….as for tan…..at least you guys got some color and even able to wear bathing suit……unlike people like me………
wow, looks like zoe had a great time. we have a similiar water park at great america, but count’s splash castle looks way better!
how fun! it’s like a little resort for kids.
b and I gotta hit up that place before summer is over. it looks like it’s crowded as heck though. girl, you’re so skinny!! but it looks like your boobs are a good size relative to your body size…(we’ll discuss in great detail next time we meet) and you and your hubs have the worst farmers tans I’ve ever seen! hahhaa!
looks like SOOOO much fun! are you staying in philly so it’s closer or did you drive from nj for the day? um and btw, are you wearing a belt with your shorts?! woman you are soo skinny!
