Zoe’s Vocabulary
Zoe is learning soo fast and her vocabulary is growing. She knows so much more than I give her credit for. She has a 5 Little Monkeys book that my sister bought her for Christmas. I haven’t read it to her in a while and this morning she picks the book out of her shelf, brings it over to me, and goes “Monkey”. Then this morning she points to her daddy’s hat and goes “ahbahguh” which mean this is daddy’s. When we were leaving the house and putting on our shoes she points to her daddy’s flip flop and goes “ahbahguh” then she picks up my flip flop and goes “ummaguh” which means this is mommy’s. When we went to Barnes and Noble she sees a Wow Wow Wubbzy coloring book and goes “wow wow”. Yesterday she points to the banana and goes “manana”. Then the biggest shock to me was this evening. OVER 2 months ago I tried to teach her her body parts but she didn’t seem that interested and after a few minutes she just ran off. So I thought that maybe she was still too young for something like that. Today I said “Zoe where are your eyes?” She blinks them a few times. I think okayyyyyy. “Zoe where are your arms?” She throws them up in the air. “Where is your belly button?” She looks down and pulls her diaper down a little and points at her belly button. “Where’s your feet?” She lifted up a foot and stamped it on the floor. “Where is your head?” She touched her head with both hands. She WAS listening to me! I was so proud of her. Zoe your really surprise me every day.

I love how she can say “I’m pretty.” Way to go, mom! If only every girl realized her own beauty and worth. Now she just needs to learn to say “I’m smart!”
You have one brillant kid! =)
