    Zoe’s recent words: Apple, Puhrowrow (Pororo), shoe

    My to-do’s this week:
    :: Schedule Zoe’s flu shot
    :: Schedule my yearly checkup
    :: Schedule my yearly eye exam
    :: Laundry
    :: Pack
    :: Tidy up the house before we leave
    :: Shopping for trip
    :: Water plants before we leave
    :: Get the eff out of ahmehreekah!

    She now puts “Hi” in front of her words. For example, just a few days ago we were walking up and down our street. She was walking behind me and had on a pair of Hello Kitty socks and her new sneakers. Even though she has sneakers on, Hello Kitty’s face is visible because of the design of the sneaker is kind of like a maryjane. So while we’re walking I hear “Hi Titty!” and I turn around and I see her waving both of her hands looking down at her socks. We walk a couple more feet and I hear “Hi shoe!” and I turn around and see her waving both of her hands looking down at her shoes. This went on for the ENTIRE walk. Hahaha…. *la sigh* Being a parent really pushes you to be patient. If my friends pulled this shit I’d be like “EFF YOUR HELLO KITTY SOCKS! STFU AND LET”S GO ALREADY!”

    For all of you who left a comment on my entry about my friend who’s looking for a nursing job with sponsorship, thank you so much. She’s a really really sweet girl and I saw her crying on sunday and wanted to help her somehow. So thank you. The internet can be a powerful tool.

    Zoe also has this new thing when it comes to reading books. She’ll bring over two books to you, one for her and one for you. If you do not read the book that she gave you outloud she gets very angry at you. It doesn’t matter that she’s not reading HER book outloud. No, no, no. What does matter is that she took the time to pick a book out for you and you can’t even show your gratitude by reading it outloud. If you do choose to speed read your book or make stuff up, like for example,  in Green Eggs and Ham I said something along the lines of ”Sam I am? OKAY! Green eggs are gross! PITOOEY! The end!” My advice to you is DON’T SAY ‘THE END’. She knows what this means and even though it looks like she’s totally engrossed in her book which, by the way, is upside down she’ll pause from her book, look up at you, and say in a really sweet voide ”Again.”  Whatevs man! You’re not the boss of me! If I CHOOSE to read the book again I do it cause I want to!

    I usually read the book…again….and again. I have no control of my life. I crying. She won’t even let me go pee.
