Update
Zoe’s phrase of the moment: I dih iht! (i did it) Sometimes she says it but she didn’t do anything.
Zoe’s word of the day: nahknee (Snow White)Man it’s not even October yet and I have a lot on my plate.
oct 3 zoe’s 18month appt
friend’s 30th b-day party
oct 4 1st b-day party
oct 10 wedding
oct 11 baby shower
oct 17 2nd b-day
oct 18 2nd b-day
oct 24 baby shower (i’m hosting)
I’ve also decided I’m going to make Zoe’s costume this year. I know I’m just asking for it. I already smell suicide mission in the air. I got a sewing machine for Christmas last year so I should try to put it to use. We shall see how that turns out. Today I went out and bought all my material.
So Zoe lately has been really clingy to me. If her dad or grandmom tries to feed her she starts to whine and pushes her bowl/plate of food to me because she wants me to do it. If her dad starts to push her in her stroller she starts to whine while she has her body turned to look up at him and it won’t stop till I push her. I am basically her designated bitch. *sigh*
So she’s growing up and I realize I need to give her some room. She’s been trying to feed herself more and will put up a fight if you won’t give her the spoon. I get it. She’s fighting for some independence. That’s fine. Why don’t you and our new independence also clean up the mess on the table, highchair, and floor after you’re done eating then? I need to let her be able to do things on her own sometimes. She now puts her dirty clothes in the hamper when I ask her to and she’s pretty damn proud after she’s done too. She’ll throw away trash if I give her something to throw away. However in this case you have to still watch her because GOD FORBID there’s an old Elmo sticker covered in last night spaghetti sauce inside she will pick it out. If she’s made a mess of her toys I’ll just keep saying “put it back, put it back” or “pick it up, pick it up” and she’ll start putting things away. It doesn’t work all the time so sometimes I’ll bribe her with a treat. One of the treats is raisins. She’s recently gotten into them. I’ll ask her for one so she’ll come towards me with 3 raisins in hand. And if one of them should happen to fall she’ll retract her hand and put the 2 that she’s still holding in her mouth. It’s as if to say “Oh mommy, yours is on the floor.” JERK!….I’ll still eat it though.
Yesterday she got her first cut and came running to me saying “Aya aya aya aya!” I gave her a Hello Kitty bandaid. She made me put one on my finger too. I think we went through 5 of them cause she kept taking them off and then yelling “aya, aya, aya” half an hour later. She thinks they’re stickers.
Oh also my camera is now working. It’s like YAY but then also DAMN! Hahaha I already envisioned a new camera. So I’m still editing my D.R. photos so for now I leave you with this…

Bandaids are like toys in our household. God forbid I have one on and Elisa doesn’t. I need to ransack the medicine cabinet for a Hello Kitty one for her… cut or no cut.
You’re a brave one. What is she going to be for Halloween? A ghost?
@hkcho - oh i got the dates mixed.
oh my goodness…our schedule for this month is about the same too…and hubby has training down in socal this month for 3 days. craziness!! need help with a sweet 16 i’m planning, if you want to add something to your list. haha i just need ideas. http://mamajoyjoy.momaroo.com/713239557/need-ideas-for-sweet-16/ i have no shame. M does the same thing with the bandaids too. and she walks around like a cripple whenever she has them on, like she’s lost a limb or something. can’t believe zoe is 18 months huh? too fast. great pic with her in the tunnel, looks like a long tunnel there.
ah, she’s discovered band-aids. her little hand is so brown! and almost her whole finger is covered by that little band-aid.

she’s so perfectly tan… I’m so jealous.
I love the pics of Zoe in the last two pictures! Like everyone else, I can’t wait to her costume!
you know how to use a sewing machine? i wish I knew. I think I would greatly enjoy altering my own clothes. Glad to hear that your camera is working again. I was sorta hoping to hear your review of the t1i though.

She’s such a riot.
