Recipe: Fried Apples
Zoe’s words: Santa
Zoe has never liked apples. Even as a baby she wouldn’t take applesauce. Applesauce! What kid doesn’t like applesauce?
Just recently my mother in law bought a huge box of Fuji apples so I have so far made 4 apple pies and whole lotta fried apples. Just recently Zoe started eating apples. Here’s my recipe for fried apples. My mother used to make this for us when we were little. We used to pour it on a bowl of plain cornflakes and milk. It’s sooo good like that!
And what I’m about to say is totally irrelevant to this post (some of the Xanga mommies know this about me) but the hubs has gotten me into UFC and so he dvr’s it for us. I just got done watching last week’s. Did anyone see how Rampage Jackson totally annihilated the door?! Like he destroyed the door and ripped it to shreds!

Ha ha, hubby makes me watch UFC with him sometimes. lol.
And I’m totally going to make those fried apples this weekend. If I could, I’d go home right now and make them but I can’t.

@LoLxGirL - you have to watch the reality ufc show. it’s good.
i love your recipes! they are so easy and yummy. thanks for sharing!
yummoes. i likes on top of pancakes.
my husband and i love UFC and we’ve been following for years. we only watch the major fights and we even follow non-UFC fighting of famous fighers, like pryde, affliction, etc. although pryde is no more.
there is a fight of one of my favorite all time fighters, Fedor Emelianenko this sunday on Bravo by StrikeForce. can’t wait.
@PetiteMandoo - No, it’s too violent for a dainty woman like me
oh all of the sudden i am getting really hungry!!!
UFC? Before I read the comments, I was thinking did she spell UFO incorrectly?
I love Zoe’s plate with the little teacup dipper sauce, where did you get that? Can you post a good recipe for Applie pie? thanks
Rampage vs the door was the best fight from Team Rampage this season.
If you’re a door in the UFC training center, you have no chance – this wasn’t the first door taken out!
The fried apples look yummy! I posted a recipe for apple bread yesterday if you want to tackle that.
yummmmmmmmmmmmm! make me some!
@XXKimPossibleXX - ok so the plate is ikea. the saucer is actually a measuring cup: http://www.kitchencritic.co.uk/upload/2006/12/nigella-lawson-measuring-cups.jpg
mmmmm…………..your whole breakfast look soo yummy! I’m drooling!
gonna have to try this easy breezy one! looks so good.
I used to watch UFC until I started training in martial arts and then I decided since I was surrounded by testosterone, I no longer wished to watch it. Now I watch it from time to time to laugh at the meat heads.
thanks for the link….that online link has cool kitchen stuff. ikea’s cool too. i have an ikea only 20 min away. you are still the best online mommy. i still have not seen anyone post as many pictures with captions as you.
oh this looks so yummy! i have apples left over from making apple sauce so i’m giving it a try~
thank you so much for the recipe!!! gonna try it right now~
UFC…I wish I was yong enough to compete in it lol
Rampage Jackson is my hero lol…He’s actually playing B.A. Baracus in the new A-Team movie that’s supposed to come out.
I think the next time I drag my hubs to a UFC championship, I’ll drag you and your hubs to it too! Seeing the action up close and personal is waaay better than the DVR version lol
Your fried apples remind me of the ones I eat at Cracker Barrel!
@MarkJennBaby - have you been to one?!
@PetiteMandoo - I’ve been to a few dozen waaay before it became so popular when the Gracie family was doing this shit on the DL lol
how do you make your eggs so beautifully fluffy and not overdone?
@myhomelessheart - oooh! easy. the key to fluffy eggs is to put milk in it.
@WaterfallPhilosophies - they are funny! there was a guy last season that sucked his thumb. hhahaha
Thank you for this post, really worthwhile info.
