Strike A Pose
Zoe’s words: Lazytown, umbrella, frog, Zoe
So yesterday we were getting ready to go to the doctor’s and she looked so cute sitting on the stairs that I wanted to take a photo of her. As soon as I held the camera up she goes “CHEESE” and it looked like she was posing but I didn’t think anything of it. After I took it she goes “Let’s shee, let’s shee.” So I showed her the photo I had just taken of her.
Later that day, she woke up from her nap and I don’t know if it’s cause she got the H1N1 vaccine but girl slept 3 hours! I fed her some lunch and then decided that since the weather was warm we would head out to the backyard after she was done.

We headed out to rake some leaves and she decided that her umbrella needed to be used that day.

After I was done we took a walk up and down our street. I brought my camera with me and she goes “CHEESE!” Ok so this time I know for sure. Girlfriend knows how to strike a pose. I have no clue where in the heck she learned this.

H1N1 & The Empty Huggies Box
There’s a huge recall on Maclaren umbrella strollers. Click here.
Zoe got her H1N1 vaccine yesterday. We were waiting in the waiting room and the doctor came out and called her name and girlfriend tried to make a run for it towards the main door. Like, she jetted like she was stealing someone’s hubcaps or something! She tripped, turned around to see me coming, and just start bawling because she knew she couldn’t get away before I reached her.
I can’t believe she tried to make a break for it. One because she is not faster than me and she knows this. Two because the door was closed and there’s no way she could have reached the door handle. So I have no idea where she thought she was going. Hahaha…. Zoe, I’m faster than you silly monkey.

Bossy Lil Sassy Pants
Zoe’s words: tree, teeth, trick or treat, Backyardigan, seat, cukoo (what she calls a clock), knock knock
Today Zoe was playing with her blocks while I was sitting at the dining room table sipping tea. She comes over to me with blocks in hands and starts whining for me to play with her. I said “Zoe if you want mommy to play with you say ‘Umma play with me.’” She goes “Umma wit me!” Close enough. So I go over and start stacking blocks with her. After about 3 minutes I come back to the dining room table to finish my tea. She comes over, looks up at me, holds out a block for me, and says “Umma do it!” EWWWWW you bossy lil sassy pants! Who do you think you is?! I’ll do it if I wanna do it! YA HEAR!?
I started stacking them like I was her prison bitch. Shocking.
Mommy = 0
Zoe=1
I shall prevail!!!
BTW what is up with Megan Fox having the hots for Bi aka Rain? Did you hear about that?

Recipe: Fried Apples
Zoe’s words: Santa
Zoe has never liked apples. Even as a baby she wouldn’t take applesauce. Applesauce! What kid doesn’t like applesauce?
Just recently my mother in law bought a huge box of Fuji apples so I have so far made 4 apple pies and whole lotta fried apples. Just recently Zoe started eating apples. Here’s my recipe for fried apples. My mother used to make this for us when we were little. We used to pour it on a bowl of plain cornflakes and milk. It’s sooo good like that!
And what I’m about to say is totally irrelevant to this post (some of the Xanga mommies know this about me) but the hubs has gotten me into UFC and so he dvr’s it for us. I just got done watching last week’s. Did anyone see how Rampage Jackson totally annihilated the door?! Like he destroyed the door and ripped it to shreds! -
The Weekend
Zoe’s words: cupcake, face, frog, seat
:: 10.31.09 :: Saturday our church threw a Halloween party for the kids. I was on the decorating comittee. I didn’t get to take any photos since I was busy with Zoe but I did get shots of Angie‘s amazing cupcakes she made for the event.
:: 11.01.09 :: Chloe’s 3rd Birthday
Omigod it pisses me off so bad when a good photo doesn’t come out right! Man, her lil puppy dog eyes looked really cute here too. -
What If?
Zoe’s words: Keun umma (another word for aunt)
Yesterday morning I was at the computer loading my photos that I took over the weekend. I left Zoe in the living room to play in her new playtent while watching an Elmo video. After about 5 minutes I hear the sound of pitter pattering little feet above me. WHAT DA!!??? I went upstairs and I see Zoe in my bedroom!!!! I grab her and bring her downstairs and I yelled at her and she started to cry. I couldn’t really yell at her to the extent that I wanted to since I was also at fault. Man. What if she had fallen down the stairs? That’s a pretty high climb up the hardwood stairs for a toddler. What if she broke her neck? What if? What if? What if? She’s usually sooo good. If she’s looking for me she’ll yell “Ummaya!” up the stairs to make sure I’m not up there. Yesterday, no warning whatsoever. We finally need to buy a gate. I mean she’s a smart cookie and she’s unbelievably obedient but reality is she is still a baby and we gotta think safety first.
After the incident it left an unsettling feeling all day. Seriously, what if? -
Hannah Unnie’s Halloween Parade
:: 10.30.09 :: My sister-in-law invited us over to Hannah’s elementary school to see the school’s Halloween parade.

Afterwards all the kids went back to their classrooms and had a Halloween party.
After school Hannah came over to have dinner with Zoe and to carve her pumpkin with me.
While we were visiting Hannah’s school, Zoe and I took a walk into the hallway where I took photos of some of the 2nd graders writings.
