Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree…
Zoe’s words: bathroom, pink, kiss, cup, bowl
Zoe is starting to recognize faces. So she knows her cousins as unnie but now she’s being specific and calls them Josie unnie or Hannah unnie. She also knows her friends Kayla, Christian, and Justin (HKCho) when she sees their pictures and can say their names. Oh and Nancy she knows you as Nancy eemoh. She doesn’t even call my sister Nancy eemoh. It’s just “Nanshee”. You should feel honored.My sister had a baby girl this past saturday. Her water broke late in the evening so they left my 3 1/2 ur old nephew at home with my mother. My mom said he fell asleep crying because his mom wasn’t there. Apparently my sister made a tape of her voice for him. So on sunday my mom said he kept playing and rewinding it while crying “mommy, mommy” the whole time. Poor thing.
I told my husband that all I wanted for my birthday was a Christmas tree. Artificial it is! Woohoo! I don’t want to do the real thing. I don’t wanna deal with pine needles falling to the floor and having Zoe pop them in her mouth like candy and I don’t want to deal with with the clean up or the watering. The husband provided.

And since Crate and Barrel no longer carry these online we went to the store to pick them up. Zoe’s 3 new owl ornaments.

Beautiful tree! We’ve been using the same pre-lit $29.99 Target tree for the past 5 years – so that’s about $6 per year – artificial is totally the way to go! We put all our decorations up this past weekend too. Does Zoe try to take the ornaments off? I found Morgan sitting by the tree with a bunch of ornaments around her and yelled at her so she hasn’t done it again, but I’m afraid that she might regress and pull the whole tree down! Same thing with the stockings that are hanging on our fireplace…

@Chabuki - she doesn’t try to take them down. she just goes over and pets the ornaments. haha and every now and then i’ll hear her yell “hi owl” and i’ll turn around to see her waving at them.
@injeannieous - i know what you mean. last year i was like, “let’s wait till next year to get a tree. she won’t know what it’s about this year.” there’s 2 presents so far under the tree. the metal bowl next to her holds her rock that she picked up off the ground when we were in d.r. that rock is her chingoo.

We had a real tree ONCE and we had pine needles popping up in random places until JULY!!! Fake is the way to go! I can’t wait for Christmas this year…I *think* Justin will enjoy it 
the tree is beautiful! I have the same chubby glitter star ^__^ but no tree yet, so smart getting it for your bday, maybe I can ask for that to be my christmas present…

@PetiteMandoo - lol ok so i’m the crazy one for not having a pet rock. oh wait, i do have one – i picked up a black lava rock from maui, i just don’t know where it is. it’s a good thing i’m better at keeping track of my pet son than my pet rock…
