  • Yes, I’m Still Alive.

Zoe’s words: robot, snowman, tinkerbell, puzzle, pick me up, thank you, your welcome, seal, good girl, hun, honey, get it, piano, guitar, snow, cloud, rainbow, i broke it, pick me up

I have soo much to write about and so many photos to post. I’ve been mucho busy. *sigh*

Zoe is changing so fast. Like SOOOO fast. She understands a lot. More than I give her credit for. The thing I love about her is that she’s sooo funny and what makes it funnier is that sometimes she knows she’s funny. Such a ham.

She also knows how to sing the alphabet….kind of. Her version goes ”a, b, c, d, ah yo baby”. She can sing happy birthday too only it sounds like “happy to zoe, happy to zoe, happy to zoe.” Come to think of it… that’s what she sang to me the morning of my birthday. Oh and she blew out the candles on my cake. It was MY day! Not yours! I’m gonna steal your thunder in march girlfriend!

This morning we were watching Dora the Explorer. It was some Christmas episode. We were still in bed and Zoe was sitting on my lap so I asked her…
Me: Zoe do you like mommy?
    Zoe: Yesh.
Me: Do you like mommy or do you LOOOOVE mommy?
    Zoe: Shanta.
    Me: What?
    Zoe: I like Shanta.

Whatevs. Next time you ask me to pick you up why don’t you ask Shanta instead then?

Last week she was sitting next to me on the floor and she tossed a small blue plastic ball across the room. She looked up at me and said “Get it.” “EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! You get it! Do you know who I am girl?” She ran up and got it herself while laughing . NOT AMUSED! Boss me around…~chi! I can smack your bossy ass back into my womb.

A few nights ago we colored together and I told her to pick up all her crayons. While she’s picking them up I hear her complimenting herself, “Good girl…..Good girl….Good”.

Girlfriend is also scared of….robots. Not the robot on Pororo. She’s accepted him but OTHER robots. I know she’s scared of her cousin Owen’s toy robot. Last week she was watching Sesame Street and when this robot came out she froze and was too scared to even run to me. With her body frozen she just turned her head to look over her shoulders at me and quivered out the words “Umma, umma!” like she was about to lose it. I was literally 5 steps away. Hahaha…I know. I’m mean. I laugh at her.

(If you notice the photo above you’ll notice that Miss Zoe has a bandaid on her lovely forehead. The story with that is she tripped and flew into the closet door. There was no bruise, no bump, no nothing. However, she felt that it was a Dora bandaid emergency so I gave in to the little drama queen.)
