Zoe & Ellis’ 3rd Birthday Party!
Ellis just had his birthday on the 3rd and Zoe’s isn’t till the 19th so since I wanted to throw a small family birthday party we decided to do one for both of them. Have birthday you little monkeys. We LOVE you! I also said I wasn’t going to do that many diy’s but I ended up doing three: the paper lanterns, the pinwheels, and the cake. Thanks Huiwen for all your tips and advice on making the cake. Your beautiful race care was what inspired me to do this and I am NEVER doing this again. I shouldn’t really say never. I never know with me. I mean I still have Kayden. Oh and let me just warn you, I only posted one Kayden photo and he was sleeping. I know I have 2 kids okay! Back off.

I had my friend print up these poster boards for me. Originally I was going to cut out the faces so the kids could stick theirs in but I ran out of time.
Believe it or not I didn’t tell her to pose like this. This is ALL HER…
And then right before bedtime we played with our glow in the dark necklaces in the dark. I told everyone to make a circle.

i’m glad you found those tips useful. aren’t you glad you made the cake a day early? ha. i was like how is this woman going to make and decorate a first time cake in a day…with two kids? and i know you WILL make another cake one day. kayden needs to feel the love too. no pressure.

i love the one where Zoe is hugging/choking Ellis!! Haha … the party was awesome Susan … the cake was unreal. I think the dolts liked it more than the kids!

yup ari’s mom. i think that’s how i found my way to your page. actually, dean’s mom is another susan (i’ve never met so many in my life either). my daughter, chloe, is just turning 5 months this week. it’s funny bc my husband and i loved the name zoe, but none of our moms could pronounce the z so we went with chloe instead. we still love the name though!
@susanechoe - hahaha i know. our parents call her soh hee but i figure it’s our kid. plus we made that her korean name. are you going to the dinner meet up?

I love all of it. Our dorky family. Ziggy’s hello kitty nails. Owen and Josie’s beauty. Kayla’s growth! Ellis and Zoe’s rocking jogging suits. Kayden’s plumpiness. Ahh I miss it so much! Love Nancy’s shoes for Zoe and the birthday cake is so impressive. I think I will make a lazy mother.
