  • Zoe’s First Time Out

:: 10.23.09 :: First Time Out (I was pissed cause I JUST washed these)
The first minute she thought it was a joke. She sat in her chair and bobbed her head to the music on the tv. I shut the tv off and she started to laugh-cry. She even got up at one point and I yelled at her to sit back down and decided to extend the time out to another minute. She cried the entire time she climbed back on her chair . We’ll try it again another time.

  • Yikes!!!! What is that crayon? And how did she reach up there?!

  • it’s not that high. i’m taking her crayons away!

  • Oh no!  I hope it comes out.

  • hahahaha   It’s beautiful Zoe!!!

  • Ouch! Can you bleach the seat covers?

  • At least they’re just covers.  Andrew managed to find a pen from who-knows-where and drew on the leather couch with it a few months ago.

  • when i was around 2, i drew all over my mom’s new purse. my mom didn’t buy new things too often and when she did i went and drew on it, it never fully came out. i also drew on the wall. oops. i probably should make it up to her somehow now.

lucky it wasn’t the wall. i hate when they dirty something you just washed. E always manages to spit up or poop leak right after i finish all the laundry. grrrr

  • it’s inevitable… *sighs…

  • awww… no more crayons for zoe for now.

  • lol, welcome to a toddlers world. i still hvae markings from my daughter drawing on the wall, her bookshelf, etc. hopefully it comes off when you wash them.. again :P

  • oh no she didn’t!

  • how can she resist?! it’s the perfect canvas! hope it’s the washable crayons!

  • That’s adorable..

  • Hahaha .. Zoe had a time out!  How cute

  • At least they’re just chair covers.  I hope she used a washable crayon.  Elisa decided to make her mark on the walls with a pen… the worst part is we’re renting.  I wonder if our landlord is going to charge us since it’s not your typical wear and tear even though he’ll have to paint anyway once we leave.

  • @jiNNie_g - have you tried the magic eraser?

  • yes, but the paint started wearing thin so it’s not a strong pen mark but dull gray streaks.  I stopped and decided to just face the music when the time comes.

  • O my…  I showed J this.  He laughed so hard but felt really bad because the chairs are so nice looking…  After she tried to eat the crayons, she drew on your lovely chairs.  *sigh*

My bff and her younger brother drew under the coffee table when they were little.  Their mom didn’t get too upset since they drew on the UNDERSIDE of the table…  They still have it and when she visits home, the table is lifted up and we can see their childish doodles.

  • Ahhh…welcome!  You are official in the The Terrible Twos world
