  • Kayden’s Funny

    Kayden’s Funny: (That’s right, Kayden)
I don’t think milestone-wise Kayden is as fast as his older sister but he does get things quick. I went into the bathroom to help Zoe finish up brushing her teeth and Kayden was right at my heel. I noticed he was really quiet so I peeked out the door. He was sitting next to the little stand where we put our dyson handheld vacuum with it’s little attachments. He was brushing his hair with the brush attachment. Hahaha…. so cute.

    (Sorry no photos today.)

  • Update!

    Zoe’s Daily Funny:
Zoe loves Transformers. I think especially Bumble Bee. A close runner up would be Optimus Prime. She has this game that she made up that we play in the car. If you see a yellow car you have to yell out “BUMBLEBEE!!!” So every morning I make this one left turn up the street to get to her school. At the corner of the house there is always this yellow cooper parked out front. So EVERY morning when I would make that turn I would yell out “BUMBLEBEE!!!” and then Zoe would congratulate me on it. “Good girl mom! You did a good job!” She upped the rules last week and now you have to yell out “TRANSFORMER BUMBLEBEE TRANSFORMER!!!” So the next day after she threw in that new rule I made my usual turn, saw the yellow cooper, and yelled out “TRANSFORMER BUMBLEBEE FROM TRANSFORMER!!!” I started laughing in the middle of it. This past weekend she changed the rules again. You NOW have to yell out “TRANSFORMER BUMBLEBEE FROM TRANSFORMER OPTIMUS PRIME FROM TRANSFORMER!!!”

Game over. I’m not playing anymore.

    Sorry I’ve been SO busy.
The hubs is back from his Hong Kong trip. THANK GOD! I never want to be a single parent. EVER. So 2 saturday morning’s ago, we took Kayden in for his flu booster shot. He was such a champ and cried for like 2 seconds. Afterwards we did some shopping because Kayden needed warmer clothes for the season and Zoe needed new pants. We also found a pair of snow boots for Zoe. Woohoo! Then after lunch and a nap we headed off to Lila’s 3rd Birthday! The kids all seemed to have a lot of fun.

Last Monday, the kids had off from school being that it was Columbus Day so the hubs took a day off to stay home with them. In the evening while I was getting Kayden ready for bed time the hubs was helping Zoe wash up. I come out of the bedroom to check on them and saw him rolling his eyes while he stood behind her at the sink. I said…

    Me: What?
C: She ruined a perfect father daughter moment.
    Me: Hahaha what happened?
C: I helped her wash her face and brush her teeth and she turned around and goes “Daddy you’re such a nice daddy.” So then I was like “Aww thanks Zoe. Ahpah does all these….” And then she cuts me off and puts her finger to her mouth and SHUSHES me and goes “SHHH SHHH! I’m washing my hands.”

    Hahahaha!

This past weekend I upped my game in Operation Kayden’s Dohl and started to work on my décor projects. I can’t wait to see everything setup. The hubs watched the kids for majority of the weekend to buy me more time on my projects. This is why I’ve been MIA. I can’t wait to post about it when I’m done. The hubs took the kids to a park. We just got Zoe a helmet and she wanted to ride her trike outside. The hubs showed mea photo and she reminded me of Warren from Something About Mary. Is that horrible? Hahaha Oh shut up. I love her and you know it. Kayden has all 4 upper teeth coming in at once. I love Kayden even though he’s a super-whiney-mama’s-boy-cry-baby-pants. He smiles and it’s like a million dollar smile. The hubs is always like “Isn’t Kayden so cute?” and I’m always like “No. He’s ugly.” BECAUSE Kayden looks just like his daddy and Mr Opportunist sees this as an invitation to compliment himself. *oh eye roll 3 times*. So whenever I tell the hubs that Kayden’s ugly, the second he leaves the room I run to Kayden and I whisper “I’msosorryyouknowyou’resohandsometomeandiloveyouyouknowyou’remorehandsomethanyourdad.” If I had said “Yes, Kayden’s super cute.” omigod, thecrap that would come out of my husband’s mouth is vomit triggering. Even projectile maybe.

I’m having a nice little im chat with the hubs and we’re talking about how he’s totally whipped by her. She came home yesterday with a My Little Pony Princess Celestia doll. The one that I told her she could have ONLY if she slept in her bed by herself all night for a while week. She was like beaming and I was like “Um, why does she have that?” Soooo whipped! I told him he tries to buy her love and she has him right where she wants him and he’s like…

    Hubs: I KNOW! I’m being mind f*cked by a 3 year old!

  • Video: Once Upon A Time…

    Zoe’s Daily Funny:
A few weeks ago Zoe was in the bathtub taking a bath while I sat on the toilet to pee with Kayden on my lap (yes, you heard right). I saw her get up and I yelled at her…

Me: Zoe what did I say about standing up? Sit down right now! Do you want to fall and get hurt?!
    Zoe: No.
Me: Ok then sit down. Now.
    Zoe: Yes, your majesty.

     I sensed sarcasm.

I invite you to share a most wonderful bedtime story with me. Zoe will be our story teller. Prepare to be amazed! Shhhh! No talking allowed.

Me: Tell me your story again

Zoe: Once upon a time there was a beautiful young lady name, uh, Princess Snow White.

    Me: Mmhmm

Zoe: And she lived in a castle and a old witch trapped her in jail. Oh No! The prince has to been save her.
    Me: What?!
Zoe: She fell asleep and then the prince had to kiss her and the witch said “Aww, Oh I’m so old!” And then she ran away and die! The end.
    Me: ……………………..that was fantastic.

WASN’T THAT JUST SO MAGICALLY DEPRESSING? I have nightmares from her bedtime stories. She’s so morbid. Hahaha….

  • While You Were Gone…

    Zoe’s Daily Funny:
This weekend the Fios cable guy was over on sunday to fix our cable box. While he’s waiting for the settings to reboot Zoe was “pretending” that it was our (as in me) wedding day, Kayden was sitting in his push car just waiting for someone to push him, my mom was in the bathroom, and I was working on one of my projects for Kayden’s dohl (which Zoe pretended that I was getting decorations ready for our wedding day). My mom comes out of the bathroom and wipes Kayden’s nose and I hear Zoe let out this big gasp and she turns to me with a frantic look on her face and goes…

Zoe: Honey! Honey! *gasp* Someone is trying to steal our baby!
Me: Oh no Sweetie! Who’s taking our precious baby?
Zoe: Her! (she points at her grandmother as if she were a random stranger) She’s ruining our wedding day!
Me: (still cutting my tissue circles) How dare she!

The cable guy is chuckling and she turns to him and goes…

    Zoe: You’re kinda big.
Cable Guy: That’s not a nice thing to say.
Zoe: You’re bigger than my mom.
Cable Guy: Let’s use the word “taller”
Zoe: I don’t like any old people except for my halmohnees (grandmothers)
Cable Guy: That’s not nice. Old people are nice.
    Zoe: They’re old.

When he first walked in the house Zoe goes…

Zoe: Is that Jin chan-chan (uncle, it’s actually samchun but she couldn’t say it a while back so chan-chan just stuck)?!
    Me: No.
    Cable Guy: Who’s Jin chan-chan?
    Me: Her uncle.
Cable Guy: Do I look like him?

I take a good look at him trying to see why Zoe would think that cause he’s big and hispanic an had glasses on and then I smiled.

    Me: Um….Just on the top.
    Cable Guy: Hahahahaha….

He was bald. And I thought I didn’t have a sensor.

So this entry is dedicated to the hubs…
Crappy things have happened while you were away. Our power went out. Kayden was sick. Our cable box stopped working. Our dvd player stopped working. Suckity suck suck. Yet I survived. Power went back on around bedtime. Kayden got better but still has a runny nose. I called the cable guy and he came on sunday to fix it. The dvd player, please replace it. Just because it works when you use it doesn’t mean it’s a good dvd player. Replace it.

Aside from the bad there was a lot of good…
:: Zoe and I made a keepsake jar from our Delaware trip. We also painted a birdhouse.
:: Kayden is crawling superfast. He also started to say “uh oh”. He also started to climb the stairs.
:: Zoe has finally learned to pedal the trike that Nancy eemoh got for her.
    :: Zoe truly loves Kayden.
:: I am going to stop buying them toys because they like to play with the kitchen trash can.

Oh and Kayden loves popsicles. Like LOVESSSS them.

I was sitting there with the kids  watching them share these Gerber arrowroot cookies that Zoe picked out for Kayden at the supermarket. She looks for the “crawling” picture on the corner of packages to pick out stuff for Kayden in the baby food aisle. Well while I was sitting there I heard her talking to him and it was as if I wasn’t even in the room at all. And I thought, “Kayden is REALLY lucky to have Zoe as a big sister.” Be still my ovaries. I almost teared when I heard her whispering to Kayden…

  • Delware | Part III

    Zoe’s Daily Funny:
So the week after we got back from DE, C spit out his window while driving and his spit streaked across the the back window (where Zoe sits). I haven’t had time to take the car in for a  wash. So last week I pick up the kids from school and while I’m driving I guess Zoe was looking out her window and goes…

Zoe: We have good weather today.
Me: We sure do. It’s not too hot…
Zoe: …And it’s not too cold, right?
    Me: Right.
Zoe: I like it like this.
    Me: Me too.

Next thing you know I could tell she was crying and I’m thinking “What? What now?! What minipause situation are you going through now?” In a quivering voice she goes…
Zoe: When is my window going to be pretty again?
    Me: What?!
Zoe: When is my window going to be pretty again?
Me: What do you mean? Pretty like what?
Zoe: Like Kayden’s window! Ahbah didn’t spit on Kayden’s window. Why did he spit on mine?!

Oh Lord. Are you kidding me? She is so overly dramatic. Yesterday it was raining a little and she goes…

Zoe: It’s raining today. I think the rain will wash away Ahpah’s spit. Oh I hope, I hope.

It’s still there. I can’t help but laugh thinking about it.

I spoke with the hubs a few days ago and was telling him how I woke up and I saw Zoe wedged between me and my mom on my bed.  How she doesn’t even wake me to ask me in the middle of the night to come sleep with her. Now she just comes in and probably thinks “Oh they saved me my spot” and just hops into bed and passes out between us.

Mind you the hubs was drunk (again) and he’s cracking up and goes “Oh God I miss that FOCKIN kid!”

Yesterday I stayed home from work because I got called out early the day before because Kayden had a temperature of 101. *sigh* His nose was like a dripping faucet. No fever all day yesterday thank God. And holy crap he’s clingy to me. And it’s not cause he’s sick. He’s like clingy ALL THE TIME! I went upstairs to get something and when I came down he’s standing by the gate leading downstairs cause he thought I went downstairs instead and he’s waiting for me crying. Our power also went out yesterday from like 12pm-9:20pm. GREATTTTTTTTTT! The one day I’m home and I have a list of things I want to take care of but couldn’t. Totally sucks! Oh well. By evening I had bought pizza from Cassie’s (so good) and we ate by candlelight. Then Zoe helped me light candles around the room and we tried to play in the dark. She had this flashlight we were using. It snorts every time you click it on but you have to keep clicking it to stay on so it keeps snorting. So annoying.

A few days ago I saw an email from TheBump with the topic “Could motherhood be making you crazy?” I chucked it. What kind of stupid question is that?! Um YEAH!

    :: 09.08.11 :: Day Six: Bethany Beach (Cloudy/Drizzle)
Today we spent some time at Bethany. In the evening we went to Fun Land one last time since it was our last night. Zoe had a lot of fun. However when we got back in the car to go back to the condo she said while half crying “Why did you bring me here?!” as in accusing us of taking her out of her God forsaken weekly routine at home. Coughcoughingratecoughcough….

  • Delaware | Part II

    Zoe’s Daily Funny:
Earlier this week I told Zoe that it was bedtime and that we had to go up. After the lights were shut off we’re lying in bed and she whispers…

Zoe: I’m just gonna dream about my Transformer toy that Ahbah is going to get me in China. I’m just gonna make a wish and blow a bubble.

Alrighty then random girl person you. Weirdo.

Hun, she cried yesterday after school because she really missed you. Her words were…

“I don’t want halmeh or halmohni to play with me. I want daddy. When is he coming home? He’s NEVER coming home!” and then she proceeded to cry.

Yesterday morning I had a pleasant conversation with my husband who was drunk and attending some company function while in Hong Kong. One part of the conversation went like this…

C: Hey babe this party is sick.
Me: What’s so sick about it?
    C: It’s just sick.
    Me: Wait, are you drunk?!
C: What? No I’m just drunk.

Why am I having these weird conversations with my family?

    Let’s talk about Kayden.
Kayden is so cute. He loves fooling around. I’ll be holding him. And I’ll hold his one hand in my other hand like I’m doing the waltz and once I start humming he’ll automatically flip his head back. hahaha He also wants to get picked up A L L    T  H  E    T I M E! So he will usually crawl while crying to find me. It’s like his whole purpose of learning to crawl was to come find me. *sigh* That part me no likey. I’ll be doing dishes and I’ll hear him doing the crying crawl so I start to speed wash because I know he’ll get to me in a matter of seconds and then I’ll have to stop what I’m doing. He also started to eat rice. He LOVES rice. Rice and soup, Rice and geem (seaweed). Omigod the butterball LOVES rice and geem. He also loves macaroni noodles. He’ll just plop his ass on my lap and pop those bad boys into his mouth like he’s eating candy. I’ve been putting him down at 8 lately. He’s so tired and cranky by then. He’ll drink about 7oz of milk and then curl up with his blankie and will wake at 6am. He gets eczema flare ups by the sides of his mouth every now and then. I’m not sure if there’s an actual cause. I’ve eliminated apples and pears from his diet because I thought they were reason he was getting the flare ups but he’s still getting the flare ups. I need to get info for an allergist from his pediatrician. Might as well get Zoe tested too while we’re at it since the mango allergy runs in my family. I’ve never given her mangos yet.

:: 09.06.11 :: Day Four: Dewey Beach (Raining)
I don’t remember what we did on this day. Oh no I do. We went shopping at the outlets since it was raining. I was thinking to myself “Why do I only have photos from the morning of Zoe in her pj’s and a photo of her at night time in her pj’s? There’s no way I let her hang out in her pj’s all day. We didn’t get a lot. C bought himself a new jacket. He kept telling me to buy something. Like he really wanted to buy me something but I didn’t see anything I really liked. I let him buy me a belt at BCBG for $20. Zoe got a Pocahontas doll. Kay got lots of clothes. They even had a Janie and Jack outlet so we bought him his birthday outfit there. Later I was telling Zoe to go to the movies to watch The Smurfs with her dad. She kept telling him to stay in and watch Kayden so she could go with me instead. He asked her why. She said “Cause mommy’s sweeter.” Damn straight. Zoe also got really homesick around this time. She kept saying she wanted to go home to her house. The hubs said he thought she was ungrateful but I told him it’s just where she feels comfortable. Her room, her toys, her things…all the things that make her feel secure. You know?

:: 09.07.11 :: Day Five: Ocean City, Md (Sunny)
Ocean City was about 45 minutes away from Dewey. This day was also the first day we tried a fried twinkie and a fried oreo. Not bad. You do have to eat it right away though. We whipped out the wagon once again. They love riding it together. The reason I put Kayden on the floor of the wagon is because I don’t trust the fatty not to fall. Safety first. In the evening we headed out to the boardwalk on Rehoboth. We whipped out Zoe’s new kite and tested it out. She loved it. She looked so tiny holding it. Afterwards we hit up Fun Land again. She finally started to relax a little and have fun and not worry so much about the noise around her. We separated while we were there. C took Zoe on the rides while I tried some games out to win tickets. There was this stupid game where you put a quarter in and this light starts spinning in circles around you. The point of the game is to catch that light between the 2 arches in front of you by slamming on a button. Dude I rocked at that game. I won Kayden a Brobee doll. The hubs met up with us and saw that I won Kay a Brobee doll and so he tried out “my” new game. He sucked. He got like 2 tickets from it and his light was WAYYYYYYYYYY far away from the arches. He sucked the big one. Then he challenged me, after I talked a lot of shit, and I had to show him up. I won the stupid game and got it between the arches and won a 100 tickets. In yo face biznatch. He was super bitter. A SUPER BITTER LOSER! haha Later he won some other stupid quarter game and BY ACCIDENT. He won like 150-200 tickets. There was a mom near by with her son while C’s tickets were still being spit out of the machine and she was like “Wow! Sweetie look at all the tickets he won!” and he’s all like “WHOA!” I was like rolling my eyes thinking “Please shut up and stop feeding my husband’s ego. He won by ACCIDENT.” We left that place with a Brobee, a Foofa, and a Muno doll. We’re champions man.

    Zoe’s Daily Funny:
Zoe’s annoying thing lately is “Play with me! Play with me! Play with me!” Sometimes I can’t though. I’ll be getting their baths ready, or ready for work, or changing Kayden, or packing their lunch, or making them food. She just expects me to drop what I’m doing and I can’t. So she also has learned to negotiate. I’ll be like…

Me: Zoe wear a sweater. It’s cold today.
Zoe: I will wear a sweater but if I get hot later then I will ask Miss Kathy if it is ok to take it off ok?

    or

    Me: Zoe eat your food.
Zoe: If I eat it all like a big girl then can I get a piece of candy after I finish?

So this morning she kept asking me to play with her. I finally got all the lunches packed, had her teeth brushed, her hair did, and I said…

Me: Ok Zoe we can play now but only for 10 minutes.
    Zoe: Awwwww no. Nine!
    Me: …ok fine by me.

    Extra minute for mommy. YES!

Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve written huh? I’ve been busy.

So the hubs started a new job back in July.He had the night time watch duty of feeding Kayden whenever he woke up since Zoe forced me to sleep with her. A week before starting his job I heard Kayden crying around his usual time of 11pm. I could make out a sihlouette of my husband coming into Zoe’s room and he gets in my face and whispers “I’m sick of this shit. I’m crying him out. Don’t get him.” It wasn’t really a whisper. I was being nice. It was more like a hiss come to think of it. It took 3-4 days and then Fatty McFat was good. Now at night we just feed him his last bottle on my bed at 8:30, carry him to his crib, and then he always curls up on his left side and hugs his blankie and goes to sleep and wakes up 6ish every morning. He loves that blankie. Life is finally starting to look sweet again after having Kayden.

Well the hubs is on his first business trip. It’s a long one and it’s to Hong Kong. He left last friday and he’s not back till October 5th. He was
emailing me photos of what first class looked like. Show off. Hahaha…. He also wrote “I love you”. I mean he says it all the time but he never writes it and especially first. I don’t know. It’s not like he’s never been away from me but somehow…I really miss him and it’s only day one. I was up till 12:30 last night and I was just really sad. Not sad that he wasn’t here to help me but sad because he wasn’t with me. It was a strange feeling but yet good cause it just reafirms that after all these years I really do love him you know. You know we’ve been together for like 11 years? I was surprised at myself for feeling the way that I did. I also think a skunk farted on our house that night. I thought I should write that since I was talking about his first night away. We told Zoe that daddy was going to China to fight the Huns with Mulan. Hahaha….

Saturday morning Zoe goes “I miss my daddy a little bit because he went to China. He’s my only daddy and that’s why I’m sad.”

Before he left his boss was telling him to get me something nice while he was out there. He suggested jewelry. I’m like “no thanks”. I was like…

    Me: How ’bout a bag?
C: Sure! How ’bout Gucci with three “C’s”?!

    Um. How ’bout not foo?

    I miss him.

:: 09.03.11 :: Day One: Dewey Beach (Sunny)
We took our last summer trip to the Delaware shore for almost a week during Labor Day weekend. It was a 4 hour drive. The first day we just checked into the condo and scoped out the area.

:: 09.04.11 :: Day Two: Dewey Beach (Sunny)
We hung out at Dewey Beach. Zoe refused to go near the water. Chicken.  So we went ”treasure hunting for seashells”. Let me tell you she was picking up the broken pieces of shells and rocks. I tried to teach her but she liked what she liked. I give the hubs props for this time. While Zoe and I were hunting, he was hanging with Kayden who was getting super cranky. He just found a quiet spot on the beach and he just rocked him for a really long time while he just kept crying and he finally put him to sleep. If you know Kayden, this is not an easy task. You’re the best hun. In the evening we checked out the boardwalk in Rehoboth. We took Zoe to this place called Fun Land. It had games and a lot of kiddie rides. She kept freaking out from all the noise so we just broke out. Then I saw a marching band playing. She started to complain about all that noise too. Fun sponge. C went back to Fun Land and won Zoe a stuffed blue lobster doll. She told him to go back and win her a red one too. So demanding. He refused. I also remember a lot of ice cream being consumed during this trip. Kayden LOVES ice cream as does Zoe.

:: 09.05.11 :: Day Three: Rehoboth Beach (Partly Sunny)
We hung out at Rehoboth on this day. The waves were really rough. Once again Zoe was anti-ocean. So we looked for more shells and Zoe even made some sand-angels in the sand. We tried to go to Fun Land again but Zoe was a no go. The second we go in she covers her ears and she’s like on the verge of tears. She hates loud noise. We also tested out the wagon for the first time with Kayden. He L O V E D the wagon!

  • New York Aquarium & Roseola

    Zoe’s Daily Funny:
Kayden had woken up from his nap and was sitting on my lap on the floor while Zoe was sitting next to us. She goes…

Zoe: What was Kayden dreaming about?
    Me: Who Kayden?
Zoe: Yeah. What was he dreaming about?
    Me: A bottle of milk.
Zoe: Was he dreaming about me?
    Me: *sigh* MMHMMM….

The world revolves around her. Did you notice?

So after 3 days of fever yesterday Kayden woke up fever free! Woohoo! Then after school when I was changing him I saw the rash on his body and a little bit on hsi face. It was Roseola! The worst is over and I can relax a little before he gets sick again in a week or two. That seems to be the routine with this one.

I am also trying to get rid of some baby items if anyone is interested let me know:
       1 Pink Bumbo
1 Britax Companion car seat with base
       1 Maclaren Easy Traveler

Has anyone seen the new limited Disney Princess Designer Collection? I love the sketches. They’re releasing a new doll every monday. So far they have Cinderella and Ariel. I think they’re beautiful. Especially the dresses. I can’t wait to see the Mulan and the Pocahontas one come out because their characters are dressed so plain to begin with. I just saw the Rapunzel one and her face looks a little drag queenish to me. And hells no I’m not buying this for Zoe. They’re 60 buck a pop. I’m good with the 2 for $20 deal on the regular dolls.

  • Olive Garden w/ The Bae Family

    Zoe’s Daily Funny:
Just like C and I get frustrated at Zoe, she gets frustrated with us. Over what? I don’t know. We’re perfect hello.
So one time we were having dinner together and it was a Sunday night. She was sitting next to her dad at the dining room table and she was so engrossed in a movie that she wasn’t chewing her food and it was taking forever for her to eat. So her dad and I every few seconds would say ”Zoe! Chew your food!” Finally she got fed up and the last time her father told her to chew her food she yelled out totally exasperated….

Zoe: Ahbah! Don’t tell me that! Ok?! I know myself!

Know this, your ass is about to get a time out girlfriend.

So I went to the derm yesterday. It turns out that the rash I’ve had on my left upper arm for 4 months is eczema. I’ve never had it before. Dagnabbit. While I was there I decided to ask her about the “red spots” i’ve collected on my body post-baby. She said they were called cherry angioma. If you google it the pictures aren’t too pretty. Especially the ones that are raised. She said you get them with age. GUHREAT. Thanks for the reminder doc.

Man, Kayden’s dohl is coming up. I need to get a move on. We found the space thanks to Susan. Now for EVERYTHING else. *sigh*

    {07.30.11} Family Dinner w/ The Bae’s @ Olive Garden
I LOVE Olive Garden. Like LOVE. I always get the all you can eat soup and salad. Yummers! So when Angi said “Hey you wanna go to Olive Garden?” I said “HOLLA!” And as usual there was like a 45 minute wait. So we walked over to Toys R’ Us and Kohl’s to kill some time. Lila and Zoe were sooo cute together. They were like little bffs. And both Keira and Kayden were so good the whole time.

Have you ever seen Spirited Away? In the movie the little girl’s parents come upon this booth that has all this delicious food set out. No one is around. So they decide to just help them themselves to whatever and start eating like a bunch of pigs. Eventually they turn into pigs and Zoe would ask me why. So when we were at Olive Garden she was eating her macaroni and then turns to me and says “Mommy I’m not going to turn into a pig because I paid for my food.” Uh with what money girl?

  • Smurfs & Playdates

Update: Magic Words I wanna hear “CONGRATULATIONS! THE ITEM IS YOURS!” Looks like Zoe’s getting her Brainy and Papa Smurf. Who’s the winner?! Me!!!

    Zoe’s Daily Funny:
So I was dropping Zoe off at school Monday morning and we were saying our goodbyes which is usually….

    Zoe: I’m gonna miss you.
Me: I’m going to miss you.
Zoe: Will you think of me?
Me: I will. I’ll be doing that instead of work.
    Zoe: I’ll think of you.
Me: Ok I’d like that. Be good in school and listen to your teachers.
    Zoe: Ok. Adios.
    Me: Adios.
    Zoe: Sayonara.
    Me: Sayonara.
    Zoe: Good bye.
    Me: Bye.

    And then she said…

Zoe: Are you going to come early?
    Me: I’m going to try.
Zoe: You tell your boss that this little girl told you to come early.
    Me: Ok.
    Zoe: You tell her.
    Me: Ok I will.
Zoe: What’s she going to say?
Me: I don’t know but let me find out and I’ll tell you after school.
Zoe: Ok tell me what she says. I will wait for you here.
    Me: Ok.

I could come at 7:30 and she would still think that I came early because she can’t tell time. Haha.

So Smurfs the movie is out and Zoe is all aboard on the Smurf train. Do you remember watching it back in the day? It’s now back on tv. I watch it now and I’m like “Omigod their voices are annoying.” I remember my sister, Hannah, had a stuffed Papa Smurf doll and my older sister, Sarah, had a Smurfette. I don’t recall having one of my own come to think of it. HOW COME I DIDN’T HAVE ONE?!!! HUH?!!! The hubs and Zoe have been doing the Smurf Village app on the iPad for a few months. I think the novelty finally wore off for both of them. I just recently took what they created and made it my own just this past weekend. I’m so into the Smurf Village thing! I’m such a nerd. It’s so exciting. Hahaha I’m like “Why wasn’t I into this before?!” I even started to bring the iPad to work just so I could tend to my Smurf garden. I just planted watermelons. WOOHOO! 11 hours till I can harvest them! WOOHOO! So anyways McDonald’s was offering little Smurf figurines with their happy meals. I sacrificed my body and bought happy meals during my lunch hour at work just so I could give her the toys. Our goal from the very beginning was to get Papa Smurf, Brainy, and Smurfette. We now have Smurfette, Farmer Smurf, 3 Handy Smurfs, Joker Smurf, and Painter Smurf. The McDonald’s by me just sold out. Let me just say I never thought in a million years that I’d be “that” mother who calls 5 different McDonald’s to see if they have a particular toy in stock. Never. Never ever. I am that woman now. So they’re sold out everywhere and I’ve been trying to win these stupid toys on Ebay. These stupid Smurfs are ruining my life! Yesterday I got on at work and right when time was running out, at 5 seconds I hit “place bid”. Then it kicked me off and told me to login with my id and password. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! So then I get on the next auction for Papa Smurf. At the last 5 second mark I hit “Place Bid” then the little circle pops up and rotates to tell me it’s thinking…thinking…WHAT DA HELL?! Then another screen pops up asking you to “confirm your bid”. Oh EFF ME!! Confirm bid! CONFIRM BID!!! Then the circle pops up again and it’s thinking, and thinking…WTF!!! Then “Bidding has ended for this item.” NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This was my work afternoon. This was what kept happening. DAMN MY SLOW WORK COMPUTER!!!! This went on ALLLLL afternoon. I wanted to kill myself. I hate the Smurfs. Stupid blue things. STUPIDS!

Ooooh one of my watermelons I planted yesterday is ready to harvest. CHA-CHING! That’s 120 XPs baby! Holla! I’m ALMOST at Level 18! I’m so close I can almost feel the caterpillars I plan on buying with my gold coins!

    {08.14.11} Playdate w/ Miss Lila
We were actually supposed to have a bigger playdate on this day but the weather was crappy and 2 of the kids were feeling under the weather. So we asked Miss Lila and her mother to come over and we asked my other friend Angie to come over as well. The girls had fun. They played together, they dressed up together, they fought together, the played some more, fought some more….Just how a playdate should be. Those 2 would not hold still long enough for me to take a photo of them together. They suck.

Because Lila’s mom is also named Angi, Zoe sometimes says things like…

Zoe: Can we go over Angi eemoh’s house?
    Me: Which Angi eemoh?
Zoe: The one without a kid.
